This ground beef jerky recipe is made in either an oven or a dehydrator and is very delicious. You can prepare ground beef jerky by following the below stated instructions.

Ingredients:

Meat:

1. One pound ground beef
2. One teaspoon salt
3. One teaspoon liquid smoke
4. One teaspoon garlic powder
5. One egg white
6. One tablespoon A-1 sauce
7. One fourth teaspoon black pepper
8. Half of a cup of Quick Quaker oats

Sauce:

1. Two tablespoons A-1 sauce
2. Three tablespoons ketchup
3. One teaspoon soy sauce
4. Two tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
5. Two tablespoons water
6. Two tablespoons vegetable oil
7. One teaspoon liquid smoke

Directions for Making Ground Beef Jerky:

1.	Mix the ingredients with ground beef and stir until thoroughly mixed. With the help of a chopping knife, chop for one minute until finely mixed and having a uniformity of putty.

2.	In the next step of making ground beef jerky, take a ball of the meat mixture on a floured cutting board and lightly coat both sides with flour. Roll out with a floured rolling pin until about 8” by 11” rectangle 1/7” or less thick. Then cut into 8” long and 1” wide strips using a pizza cutter and transfer the same carefully to a wire rack.

3.	Heat your oven to 300 degrees. Place the wire rack in the center of the oven with a second rack one notch below. Place a cookie sheet under meat, which acts as a drip pan on the lower rack. Bake for one hour.

4.	Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a shallow dish. After removing the rack of meat, roll every strip in the sauce mix and place them back on rack. Bake for 15 minutes to 450 degrees. Recoat strips after removing from the rack again and bake for another 15 minutes. Final step for making this beef jerky involves coating one last time and then cooling to room temperature.

There you have it, a simple and easy to make ground beef jerky recipe.

Here is a Spicy Beef Jerky Recipe that is delicious and that retains the original flavor of beef jerky with easy to make procedures. Prepare this spicy beef jerky by following directions below:

Ingredients for Spicy Beef Jerky Recipe Include:

1.	Two lbs of flank steak
2.	One cup of dry red wine
3.	Half cup of soy sauce
4.	One cup of Worcestershire
5.	Half cup of red wine vinegar
6.	Four garlic cloves, mashed
7.	One jar of red chili sauce (you can find in the section of Asian stores)
8.	Half spoon salt
9.	Half cup of dark brown sugar

Instructions to Make Spicy Beef Jerky Include:

1.	Keep the meat in the refrigerator for one hour until it becomes hard but not ice-covered, so that you can slice it easily.
2.	With a sharp knife, cut it into diagonal pieces less than half an inch thick.
3.	Put these pieces in a big container or bowl.
4.	Mix the soy sauce, red wine, Worcestershire, garlic, vinegar, and chili sauce.
5.	Pour this on the meat, cover and then keep it in the freezer for around four hours (overnight will be best). The pieces develop several coats.
6.	Take out the meat from marinade and clean it with paper towel so that it dries well.
7.	Arrange these pieces in a layer on wire stands (used for cooling cookies and cakes) and set the stands on foil wrapped baking sheets.
8.	Place the meat in a 175º microwave oven for nearly two to three hours, until it dries and becomes dark brown.
9.	Watch it carefully in the last half-an-hour or until the meat burns quickly.
10.	Let it cool completely and then store it in an airtight container.
11.	To make it even more savory, add few pinches of Crushed Habanero Pepper.

There you have it. A simple and easy to make spicy beef jerky recipe!
